Unbeaten Chris Holder ends year strongly

AUSTRALIAN star Chris Holder ended a tough 2018 on a high as he went unbeaten in the Jason Crump Cup at Kurri Kurri on Boxing Day.

The Sydneysider raced to a 15-point maximum in the heats before triumphing in the final ahead of Australian champion Rohan Tungate, former national champion Sam Masters and his younger brother Jack.

Holder is contesting next month’s Australian championship series, which gets under way at Adelaide venue Gillman Speedway on January 3.
