Miss Jean Hayter is a petite blonde, with merry blue –grey eyes, and hair as near gold as any in the contest. 

She is the youngest girl in the competition yet her character is outstanding.  Miss Hayter is probably the keenest and alivest girl in the group, and her beauty is of the kind of attracts by its unusualness.
