Murray River levels should be right for a busy Easter

MURRAY River heights are expected to remain stable over the Easter period if conditions remain dry this month.

The news will be welcomed by Sunraysia tourism operators, with Easter one of the busiest periods of the year for the region.

“Provided conditions remain hot and dry, and with Easter within the peak irrigation season, high amounts of water will likely still be called on,” Murray-Darling Basin Authority head of river management Andrew Reynolds said.
