JUNIOR outdoor sport in regional Victoria can restart.

At 11.59pm on Wednesday all contact and non-contact junior sports were officially allowed to resume.

In addition, adult non-contact sport, can also resume under strict gathering and density limits.

The decision means competitions like tennis, golf and cricket will be allowed to start.
