MILDURA'S Thomas Moore and Abbey Clifford were the lucky winners of the Sunraysia Daily Australian Open competition.

Due to Thomas having a prior commitment, he has gifted his tickets to his parents Maree and Paul Moore (pictured), who will attend the men's singles final.

Abbey said she was "extremely excited" to win tickets to the women's singles final on Saturday night and would take her mother to hopefully see Ash Barty in action.

However, after Barty's semi-final loss to American Sophia Kenin on Thursday, that was not to be.

Each winner also receives three nights' twin-share accommodation and flight vouchers from Mildura to Melbourne courtesy of Sunraysia Daily.
