THE Bendigo Pioneers girls will open their NAB League fixture with a curtain-raiser to the AFLW match between Richmond and Geelong at Bendigo’s Queen Elizabeth Oval on February 29.

The Pioneers will face Western Jets.

That will be the first of four home games for the Pioneers in the Bendigo region across the 10-round girls’ season, with games either at Queen Elizabeth Oval or Epsom Huntley Reserve.

The NAB League boys open their campaign with an away game against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on March 21.

They play their first two games away from home before returning to the Queen Elizabeth Oval to face Gippsland on April 4.

The Pioneers will play regional games in Echuca on the weekend of June 27-28 (day to be determined) and then in Swan Hill on July 5.
