Still aiming for Tokyo

YELTA skeet shooter Luke Argiro is still in the running for a Tokyo Olympics placing after the first two of four Olympic qualifying events at the Newcastle Lake Macquarie Clay Target Club.

With two of the four Olympic skeet qualifier events completed – this week’s Commonwealth and National events – Queenslander Paul Adams has amassed
246 points to take a healthy nine-point lead over New South Wales’ Josh Bell (238 points), with Argiro (237) and NSW’s Frank Morris (237) sharing equal third.
