Imperials co-coach Ryan Doherty happy in top role

TWO months into his senior coaching tenure at Imperials and Ryan Doherty feels he is settling in well.

“It’s pretty early days but being the assistant coach last year and an assistant before, making the transition has been really good,” Doherty said.

“Having Bradley (Hards) there as well, I work pretty well with him, it’s pretty exciting.”

Doherty praised the work of departed senior coach Adam Hartlett, who has returned to Adelaide to take up a role as assistant coach with SANFL premiers Glenelg while also suiting up for his junior football club in Edwardstown.
