MILDURA will host the Victorian Country Long Course Swimming Championships in January 2021, in a major tourism boost for the city.

The three-day event, to be held at Mildura Waves, is expected to bring up to 4000 people to the region.

Accommodation has already been booked out in the city since the announcement was made by Swimming Victoria on Wednesday.
