POOR weather conditions forced organisers of Sunraysia Swimming Incorporated’s first meet of the season to move competition from the outdoor to the indoor pool at Mildura Waves on the weekend.
Mildura Swimming Club dominated, collecting 40 gold, 11 silver and three bronze medals.
The highlight of the event was Daniel Plummer’s performance in 100m freestyle which saw him swim a qualifying time for the Victoria Country Swimming Championships later this year.
In the 50m breaststroke Harriet Webb swam a personal best, as did Emma Strachan in the 200m individual medley.
