BILLED as the Sunraysia Rugby League “match of the season” the round 10 men’s game on Saturday between the Mildura Tigers and the Mildura Warriors didn’t disappoint.

With the result almost certain to determine who wins the minor premiership and earn a week’s rest before the finals, there was never any doubt as to the determination and commitment of both teams but it was the Tigers who roared at the end.

As it was in the girls’ game earlier in the day, the score see-sawed throughout the match.
