Finch leads the way on return

Mildura East women’s captain Caitlin Finch has led the way for her side so far in their inaugural season in the current Sunraysia Cricket Association women’s competition. The 17-year-old believes last week’s win over Irymple, the side’s maiden victory, will hold them in good stead for the season to come after this weekend’s break.

MILDURA East’s historic six-run win over Irymple in women’s cricket should be a great boost for the side, team captain Caitlin Finch (pictured) says.

The 17-year-old starred with bat and ball in the side’s first win in the women’s competition after rejoining the Sunraysia women’s cricket landscape this season.
