THE penultimate round of Big V action took place on the weekend with the Mildura Heat women’s side powering home in the final quarter to claim a gutsy 10 point victory against the Camberwell Dragons, who can now no longer make the top five to play finals basketball.

Winning 84-74, Lara Burrows and Ava Zadow delivered again to outlast Dragons in a gritty battle that was razor close throughout.
