EMERGING athlete Jett Johnson says his previous experience at the Little Athletics nationals will make this weekend's attempt much easier.

The 14-year-old from Mildura and District Little Athletics heads to Adelaide to take on the best at the Australian Little Athletics Championships.

Johnson will compete in the Under 15 boys' 300m hurdles and triple jump, both taking place on Saturday.
