ALMOST 40 shooters from three states competed in the North West Victorian Small Bore Championships at Mildura Small Bore Rifle Club over the June long weekend.

The first discipline was the Air Rifle Benchrest, at the Red Cliffs indoor 20-metre range.

Local club members Alan Collins and David Yudkin came second and third, beaten by Tony Adams from Reynella, South Australia.
