SOME Sunraysia Football Netball League clubs will have their salary cap reduced by up to $30,000 in 2021.

The decision to cut player payments was made by the AFL Sunraysia commission to help clubs cope financially with the impacts of  COVID-19.

Many people had expected the commission to reduce the cap even further, with some predicting a cut of up to 50 per cent.
