ESSENDON general manager of list and recruiting Adrian Dodoro has praised former Imperials footballer Matt Dea on his short time at the club in the wake of the club’s supplement saga.

Dea was a supplementary player listed by the club following 12 of its listed players being banned for the 2016 season and ended up staying with the club until retiring in 2019.
