MILDURA City Soccer Club's men's team ran riot over Nichols Point at the weekend with a whopping 7-1 victory.

In somewhat understated fashion City's coach, Simon Trembath, said he was pleased with win following a 3-1 success over Irymple in round 1.

"We felt really confident in the work we did in preseason and it's really good to start the season with a couple of wins on the board," he said.
