Seaway Intermodal, Merbein is seeking to employ a qualified Diesel Mechanic with good all-round knowledge of truck and trailer repairs. The successful applicant will work within a functional and fully equipped workshop alongside existing mechanical staff. Requirements: Ability to diagnose and repair heavy machinery.Available to work on a rotating after hours breakdown roster.Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical would be an advantage.Strong commitment to all areas of safety.Ability to work within allocated time frames and clean up after yourself.Able to satisfactorily complete computer based job cards.Current drivers licence.
