MILDURA mum Kim Chalmers brought her daughter, five-year-old Ida Van Olphen, to the climate rally in the hope it is an event she will "look back on and be proud to have taken part in."

"It's important for everyone to participate in today -- this is the absolute top most critical issue on every agenda for every person in the world," Ms Chalmers said.
