AN initiative to create more jobs in Sunraysia was celebrated at the Yatpool Solar Farm on Wednesday.

Jobs Minister Martin Pakula toured the Beon Energy development during his visit to Sunraysia to spend time with workers who have benefited from the Jobs Victoria program.

The project, delivered in partnership with Mildura Council, has created more than 190 jobs.

Beon Energy community engagement manager Justin Coburn described the initiative as one that "united" workers.
