THE Victorian Government says it is investigating what further support it can provide Millewa farmers hit by the worst growing conditions since the 1940s.

Agriculture Minister Jaclyn Symes on Monday made an unannounced visit to the region to see first-hand the plight of local farmers, most of whom are facing failed crops for the second successive year.
