We’ll show NSW Premier border problem, says citrus chief

CITRUS Australia has invited NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian to tour local farms so she can hear first-hand the issues of attracting and retaining a workforce.

Citrus Australia chief executive Nathan Hancock said the NSW Government needed to urgently lift its ban on seasonal workers crossing the Victorian border, claiming it was costing growers $1.7 million a day at the peak of their harvest.
