A YOUNG woman stole a car, helped break into and smash the windows of nine other vehicles, and drove at police during a three-day crime spree in Mildura.

The woman, 20, avoided a jail sentence after pleading guilty to 27 charges before Mildura Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

A police prosecutor said Britney Pauly, a 16-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl were arrested last Thursday.
