A SUNASSIST newspaper delivery person has been left "distraught" after his uninsured car was stolen in a terrifying armed robbery early Friday morning.

The man, aged in his late 50s, had parked his vehicle on Birralee Avenue in Mildura at 5.30am and was delivering newspapers on foot, when two men approached him with a weapon.
