A MAN has been bailed on serious assault charges after a brutal late-night bashing in the Mildura CBD.

The victim was flown to Melbourne to undergo facial reconstruction surgery after he was allegedly set upon by a group of five people after leaving Dom's Nightclub last Saturday night.
