A MAN condemned to life in jail for the murder of a young woman near Mildura more than 30 years ago is launching what could be his last bid for freedom.

Daryl Francis Suckling has spent most of his adult years in prison and in 1996 was sentenced to life in jail for the murder of a 21-year-old woman he abducted from Melbourne almost 10 years earli
