A MAN who paid $200 for a distinctive dirt bike after it was stolen from a Mildura address has avoided a term of imprisonment on a charge of handling stolen goods.

Thirty-one-year-old Payten Greenaway admitted to buying the 250cc bike bike from a "mate" after it was taken from the rear shed of a property overnight on July 19 last year.
