AN "out of control" thief who stole booze, food and a custom-made road bicycle valued at almost $20,000 has been jailed.

Thirty-year-old Allan Whyman faced Mildura Magistrates' Court this week on 15 counts of theft from supermarkets, liquor outlets and service stations as from a house in Angelo Court.
