A YOUNG Mildura mum has been warned against becoming a "gangster" for her child after she admitted her role in a street fight with her partner's ex.

The Mildura Magistrates' Court heard the then-20-year-old and her new partner drove to the home of his ex where she was out the front of the house with two males.
