AN ex-Victoria Police officer has been charged following the discovery of more than 60 unregistered firearms and barrels of drug precursor chemicals at his Red Cliffs property.

Colin Sinclair, 67, was arrested on Wednesday as police executed a discretional storage firearm inspection at his home.
