A MILDURA man unlawfully released from a Melbourne prison was being held on remand after being charged with sexual assault offences.

Detectives from the Fugitive Squad have appealed for public assistance to help locate 43-year-old Bradley Johnson following his release from the Ravenhall Correctional Centre on Monday.
