A SADISTIC killer found guilty of the murder of a woman north of Mildura more than three decades ago may have taken any hope of finding her remains to the grave.

Daryl Francis Suckling, who was serving life in jail for the murder of Jodie Larcombe in 1989, died this week in prison aged 85 following a long illness.
