A WOMAN has been directed to stand trial after the car she was driving hit a tree at Nangiloc in 2019, killing one of her passengers.

Nancy Paulus, 35, appeared before Mildura Magistrates' Court on Thursday for a committal hearing over charges of dangerous driving causing death and careless driving laid last year.
