Glenn Miller case delay sought after police interview

FORMER Mildura teacher Glenn Miller has been interviewed over new allegations.

The 76-year-old was set to contest charges including knowingly possessing child abuse material, distributing child abuse material, intentionally producing child abuse material, before Mildura Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.

However defence counsel Hugh Middleton asked that the case be adjourned after fresh allegations came to light.

He told the court Miller was interviewed by police from jail on Monday and asked for a one-week delay to see whether new charges would be laid.

Miller will next appear by video link before Mildura Magistrates' Court on July 2.
