IN BRIEF: ONE car was stolen and a further seven broken into at the weekend.

Between 9pm on Saturday and 8am Sunday, a 2002 green Mitsubishi station wagon was stolen from Ellswood Crescent in Mildura.

The car was found on Sunday afternoon, further down the street.

Police said it appeared the car may have been pushed there when the offenders were unable to start it.
