A WOMAN has been charged with stealing a car after taking it for a test drive.

On Saturday morning, a 30-year-old woman took the car for a test drive and failed to return it.

In the early hours of Sunday, she was arrested by police while driving the allegedly stolen car.

The woman was interviewed, charged and bailed to appear at Mildura Magistrates' Court at a later date.
