A WOMAN who tried to smuggle cigarettes into custody for her son has been placed on a good behaviour bond.

The 55-year-old pleaded guilty before the Mildura Magistrates' Court this week.

In July last year, the woman went to Mildura Police Station to drop clothes off to a prisoner.
