A MAGISTRATE has labelled the actions of a family violence perpetrator as "completely and utterly unacceptable" after a man punched his wife in the face before throwing full cans of beer at her.

The 56-year-old pleaded guilty to unlawful assault and breaching a court imposed order when he appeared before the Mildura Magistrates' Court on Wednesday.
