I EXPLORED flights to Bangkok and on to Europe with Qantas out of Melbourne Airport. Many of the Qantas flights are via Sydney with the domestic connection part of the fare.

Tried the same routes out of Albury with Qantas and the fare was $250 more. No wonder regional tourism struggles.
