Real-world solutions wanted not soapboxes

Interesting to see local councillor Helen Healy in this paper endorsing the views of the 22 “brave men”  on climate change affecting droughts and bushfires, one of them retired NSW rural fire chief Greg Mullins, calling for an immediate shutdown of Australia’s fossil fuel industry.

What a great idea.

This would send what’s left of Australia’s industry and manufacturing offshore to Third World countries where there are no rules on carbon emissions.

There is no doubt climate warming is real and requires action but not from a politically biased soapbox to gain a few local votes but instead with real-world practical solutions.
