Reallocation of medical staff into rural areas is urgently needed to stay ahead of the increased demand expected due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Experts are saying the medical workforce is going to be a key issue over the next few months and more needs to be done to ensure this is co-ordinated on a national level so rural areas are not left behind.
