PHOTOS: Vics eat crow again at Wakeboard State of Origin

SOUTH Australia extended their head-to-head lead over Victoria in the Wakeboard State of Origin to 4-2 after retaining the title on Saturday.

The tournament at the Mildura riverfront drew 50 competitors, 25 from each state, all showing off their talent on the water.

Mildura’s Cambell Davison, riding for South Australia, claimed second in the Open division behind South Australian Luke Matson.

It is hoped in the near future the annual event, which reappeared on the wakeboarding calendar in 2014, will grow into a two-day event to capitalise on its rising popularity.
