DUE to this week's forecast extreme heat, operating hours at Buronga Landfill and Wentworth Transfer Station will be reduced.

For the remainder of the week, Wentworth Shire Council will only operate their landfill and transfer stations in the mornings.

Buronga Landfill will operate from 7am to 12pm on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Wentworth Transfer Station will open from 7am to 12pm on Wednesday and will be closed on Friday.

Dareton Transfer Station will open on Thursday from 8am to 12pm while Pomona Landfill will operate from 8am to 12pm on Friday, as per their usual opening hours.
