A MAN who went to the rescue of two people who were being attacked by a woman wielding a knife and metal pole west of Mildura will be among seven people to receive bravery awards on Wednesday.
The Royal Humane Society of Australasia Awards, to be presented by Governor of Victoria Linda Dessau, recognise rescues from assault and an armed assailant; car accidents; the sea and surf; a burning building or a person suffering a cardiac arrest.
