A BLUE-green algae red alert warning on the Murray River in Mildura has been extended through to Red Cliffs.

WaterNSW first issued a warning last week after detecting high levels of algae between the Lock 11 Weir Pool to Bruce's Bend boat ramp, however on Friday it was extended to Red Cliffs.
