ORGANISERS have lauded the Australian Alternative Varieties Wine Show as another "fabulous" showpiece of non-mainstream wines produced from around the country.

More than 200 people turned out for wine tasting on Saturday ahead of the annual awards long lunch throughout the afternoon.
