THE construction of a new roundabout at the intersection of Deakin Avenue and Seventeenth Street means drivers heading south along Deakin Avenue out of Mildura will need to detour along Benetook Avenue and Gordon Avenue from Tuesday, November 12.

All traffic travelling north into Mildura can continue to use Deakin Avenue and the Seventeenth Street roundabout as normal.

Traffic management will be on-site to guide drivers through the works, which are expected to be complete by January 2020.

The detour will remain in place until then.
