REPRESENTATIVES of a large group of residents who objected a decision to place Murrayville's first library in a popular park have withdrawn their VCAT application after a year-long fight.

More than 60 objectors banded together to dispute the decision passed by Mildura councillors in March and lodged an appeal with Victoria's planning umpire to review the Pioneer Park location.
