Dry sky makes for a rainless October, worst since 2006

MILDURA is facing its driest October in more than a decade.

Bureau of Meteorology (BOM) senior forecaster Christie Johnson said no rainfall had been recorded for the month, significantly below the average of 28mm.

She said rain was not expected over the next two days, as the mercury rises to 35 degrees on Wednesday before hitting 38 degrees on Thursday.
